Recipe: Simple Applesauce

It’s apple season! And luckily I get great discounts from my “apple-man” at the bazaar (I honestly don’t remember his name and so call him that in my head), so what better to do with excess apples than make some applesauce?

Simple Applesauce

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups chopped apples (about 4 sm-med apples)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • to taste: cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice

Procedure

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and then simmer until apples break down and mixture thickens. If you want, mash apples for less chunkiness.

Смачного!
