You may know that I love beets. (If you didn’t know before, you know now.)
You may also know that many traditional Ukrainian dishes feature beets. They grow easily and abundantly in this part of the world and are available year-round. Living in Ukraine for two years has expanded my beet recipe arsenal, and I was fortunate enough to contribute several short articles and recipes to EntertainingYourself.com‘s “Beet Week.” Click on the links below to learn some new recipes:
- Day 1: learn how to make delicious, healthy Ukrainian borscht
- Day 2: two of my favorite Ukrainian salads that feature beets
- Day 5: beet horseradish, also known as khrin and a tasty accompaniment to meat
And just for kicks, here’s a bonus beet recipe for colorful beet salad.
